Koora Van Hire supplies caravans to film production companies, broadcasters and photographers for props and feature pieces.
We are looking for more work in this sector. We enjoy working with production companies and photographers to ensure our classic caravans are put to use efficiently and effectively. With our knowledge of caravans, we have been used on set to assist with set up, filming, bump in and out etc and we always do our best to lend a helping hand on set and make ourselves useful, whilst always being respectful and not getting in the way. Whether you need a hero piece or a background prop, we have you covered! Furthermore, we understand and respect privacy, non-disclosure around film and advertising and recognise that punctuality and good communication are critical.

Specsavers-Home And Away TV Commercial
Koora Van Hire was recently contracted to provide two of our vintage vans for a Specsavers and Home And Away Commercial, filmed at Palm Beach NSW. We thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the advertisement and remained on set for the duration of the hire to provide assistance to the crew, art department and moving the vans whenever required.

Danii Minogue NewsCorp - Sunday Telegraph Cover

Koora Van Hire recently completed a photoshoot in partnership with NewsCorp, featuring Danii Minogue on the cover and as a feature of their Sunday magazine "Stellar". Our Viscount Royal 13ft "Florabel"" was used due to its unique colouring and vintage style, fitting the mood board perfectly!

Heartbreak High (Netflix) 2025

Our Viscount Royal 16ft (Nutmeg) was recently featured in a popular Australian TV series called "Heartbreak High". Once we get images of the final cut, we will post them here, with permission. This episode has been aired however we have not had the chance to look at it yet.

BWS Australia Summer Advertising Campaign

This production was completed in partnership with Airbag Productions at Fox Studios Sydney. The background features our Viscount Royal 16ft caravan. This campaign was shown on TV, social media, physical signs, print media and online.

Optus Advertising Campaign
|
Our caravans were used in an advertisement for Optus Australia in 2023. We thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this production, and were happy to provide physical on site support and specialist knowledge during the setup and takedown stages of the filming.

Four Corners Episode ABC

Our caravans were used in filming an episode of Four Corners on the ABC. Our Viscount Royal 13ft was chosen by the ABC due to its true period appearance and stock condition. We received great feedback about the caravan and the ease of working with Koora Van Hire.

G-Flip "Good Enough For You" Music Video

Koora Van Hire was involved in filming a music video for talented Australian artist and drummer G-Flip. Our Viscount Royal 13ft made a good background piece for the video with its unique size and original appearance. We had a great time on set filming this and enjoyed helping with not only the caravan, but other hands on work as well.

Tourism Australia Series "Friends"

Koora Van Hire partnered with Tourism Australia and Glenworth Valley in creating an advertising video showcasing Australian tourism. This was broadcast in several countries internationally during prime time TV. The series helped attract overseas tourists and millions in revenue to the Australian tourism sector!
We loved being a part of such a large production and sincerely appreciate the opportunity to represent Australian Tourism on the world stage! |
Viva La Vintage Photography

Koora Van Hire partnered with Viva La Vintage Photography. Viva La Vintage are quite experienced within the vintage movement and their work takes them interstate and even internationally. Koora Van Hire works closely with Viva La Vintage, providing our vintage caravans for festivals, photo shoots and even pinup pageants.
